These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of QuranNoteTaker ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The App is a personal study tool for recording, transcribing, and taking notes on Islamic lectures, khutbahs, and Quran study. You may use the App for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not use the App to:

You may use the App without creating an account. Certain features (cloud sync, transcription, AI-powered study tools) require you to sign in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

Some features require an active subscription ("Pro"). Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Key points:

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate transcriptions, summaries, flashcards, and chat responses. AI-generated content is provided for personal study convenience and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not rely on AI-generated content as a primary source of Islamic knowledge. Always verify important information with qualified scholars or authoritative texts.

5. Quran Text

The Quran text included in the App is provided for personal reading and reference. We have made every effort to ensure its accuracy. If you notice any errors in the Quran text, please contact us immediately.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all recordings, notes, and other content you create in the App. By using cloud sync features, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim any rights over your content.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by QuranNoteTaker. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuranNoteTaker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive (such as limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on this page.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which QuranNoteTaker operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
